this feeds into the whole netocracy debate and the evolution of the mindless disorganised mass - consumeritat, whic can then be easily manipulated by coprorate and imperialist media.

This area is huge? Have you watched Noam Chomsky's "Manufacturing Conscent" documentary? or have you read the book?

There is also a recent book, which I found pretty good "Weapons of mass seduction"

I have seen some parts from the documentary on the UOB Library, but didn't have time to go deep into it. Right now reading Chomski's Media Control... as soon as I finish it will go into the "Manufacturing Concent".

What about that "Weapons of mass seduction"? Is it the one by Nicholas Jackson O'Shaughnessy? I haven't read that - but if you recommend, I'll try to find it.

I also highly recomment Doris A. Graber's Media Power in Politics. Very interesting!
