Managing democracy with fear and xenofobia


The people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.

It works the same way in any country. And it works the same way with www.HHK.am Just browse through their Library and the works of Garegin Ndjhe and his "tseghakron" ideas - in comparrison Hitler's "Mein Kampf" will appear as a bedtime story. (warning: as you read Garegin Ndzhe make sure you keep a bin nearby in case you start feeling nausea).

The question is not Bush's IQ. The question is how to destroy that Statist structure which permits people like Hitler and Bush get so high up into the place of power. The problem is not the power, but the place of power.

Another question is how to cultivate subjectivities which would be concious of Value of things and thus be immune to demagoguery and media manipulations.
