Armenian PowerSpell 2011 (Word/Excel Demo)



Microsoft Office 2007-ի եւ OpenOffice 3-ի հայերեն տեքստերի ուղղագրության ստուգման հիասթափեցնող ծրագրերից հետո միակ հույսը մնացել է Armenian PowerSpell-ը: Երկու տարի առաջ ես փորձարկել էի Armenian Power Spell 2009-ը: Այն բոլորից լավ էր աշխատում, բայց` վճարովի էր եւ ահավոր ծանրաբեռնում էր համակարգչի հիշողությունը:

YouTube launches New homepage to all users


I have been using the New YouTube Homepage for some time now and found it very useful, if I keep the number of my subscriptions low and relevant. As I'm a news junkie, I guest Associated Press, Reuters, BBC and AlJazeera videaos first, followed by Azatutyun Radio and A1+ stuff. So while in the past I practically never looked at my YouTube Homepage, which was displayed after logging into the site, now I increasingly find myself spending more time there.

Orange enters the new 2011 year with half a million customers

Mobile operator Orange Armenia has announced, that it is concluding its first year of operations in Armenia with 500,000 active customers.

Bruno Duthoit, Orange Armenia CEO, said: «2010 was a very important year for us: this was the first full year of operations. The year of 2010 was a year of a lot of innovations, new offers, extension of the coverage, construction of the customer base and investments. We are happy and proud of these achievements that are the result of the devoted and enthusiastic work of the whole Orange team. Official: Number of Armenian Internet Users Reaches 1,5 Million

В Армении более 1,5 млн пользователей Интернета


According to the Armenia’s Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC), 1,5 million internet users were registered in Armenia.

Member of Armenia’s Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) Samvel Arabajyan told a news conference on October 26th, that over 160 thousand broadband internet users were reported as of October 1 against 125 thousand in January 1.

Meanwhile, twofold decrease of dial-up internet users was observed over the first half-year of 2010, their current number comprising 21 thousand.

Firefox remains top browser in Armenia, Chrome catches up with IE

Firefox remains the top browser in Armenia,  StatCounter.com data for Aug 09 to Aug 10
With 43.34% market-share, Firefox has remained the top browser in Armenia this year, while Google Chrome displayed impressive growth rates reaching 19.82% and threatening to overtake Microsoft's Internet Explorer, which is currently second with a modest 23.35%.
